1 ‚p What does the LAC TIRE PRINTING SYSTEM consist of?
‚` Components are mechanism, printing software, controller, PC, Photoshop, air compressor, and electric heater.
2 ‚p What is the power source?
‚` 110/120 V 600W for machine, PCs, and air compressor and 200V 2.0kw for heater
3 ‚p Do I need humidity/temperature management? Does the machine need a specific booth?
‚` Use LAC tire printer with a compressor at under 25 to 30 degrees Celsius (77 to 86 degrees Fahrenheit) of temperature and the
humidity less than 55 %. A change of the atmosphere may affect the color of the print exponentially. The preferable temperature of the tire sidewall surface during printing is 90 to 100 degrees Celsius. (194 to 212 degrees Fahrenheit). You don't need a specific booth.
4 ‚p How about installation and set up of the machine?
‚` It's simple and easy. If you take training and follow the instruction, you can set up within an hour at best.
5 ‚p Can I master how to use the machine immediately?
‚` No, you need to take training and get used to the operation.
6 ‚p What kind of image file can be used for printing data?
‚` Printing data should be rendered to TIFF file with an alpha channel. You edit the design with Photoshop CS in principle.
7 ‚p Isn't it difficult to create printing data?
‚` We require at least an intermediate skill in Photoshop CS. You can of course learn from training.
Except for artistic aspects, fundamental setting to create data is also explained comprehensibly in the manual as well.
8 ‚p Is the preparation before printing complicated? Does it take a long time?
‚` No, it is simple. It shouldn't take long time unless you spend too much on the adjustment of print settings.
10 ‚p Can I print on a tire without a wheel?
‚` Yes, you can print. In other words, either way printing is possible.
